Guides are encouraged to become confident, self-respecting community members. There are many opportunities for girls and adults to be involved in cool activities/events other than those they enjoy on their Unit meeting night. There are a wide range of community events in which Guides participate and also activities which Girl Guides Victoria manage, to benefit the community. We welcome you to join us.
Girl Guides Victoria Cork Recycling Program
Help reserve the environment and support Girl Guides Victoria by collecting your natural wine and champagne corks for recycling. Members of Girl Guides Victoria have collected used corks from wine and champagne bottles since 1989 in a recycling program which was a world-wide first. The project has now spread to every State in Australia and to the United Kingdom. Please contact us for further information guides@guidesvic.org.au
Guide Biscuits
For over 40 years, Guides in Australia have been selling their famous Guide Biscuits. The biscuits are available in three varieties: plain, choc top and minis. Money raised from the Guide Biscuits supports Guide programs throughout Australia, that focus on helping girls and young women develop into self-respecting and responsible community members.
