Tynong North Guide Campsite is managed by a committee comprising of representatives from South Metropolitan and Dandenong Valley Regions.

The campsite was opened in 1972 with an A-frame house and outdoor camping facilities. The indoor accommodation is for 30 people on the mezzanine floor.

Environment:Indoor - 30 beds, large separate kitchen with two electric stoves, microwave, fridge, large dining/recreation room with a gas space heater. Three hot showers, six septic toilets. Mattresses and pillows supplied.
Outdoor - one camping site. 
Guide Region:Managed by South Metro and Dandenong Valley Regions. Located in Casinia Region
Distance to CBD: 70km east of Melbourne

Nearest Town:Pakenham
Other information: Public transport: Pakenham (Met) or Tynong (V-line) stations. Charter bus from station to campsite. Campsite is 5.5km from Princes Highway.
