7 Lovely Things to Bring on Your Next Winter Camp

Are you going camping with Girl Guides this winter? Yes? Well in that case, here are 7 ways to stay cosy because camping in winter is so much fun!

  1. Bring a beanie

Keep your ears warm with a funky beanie – the crazier, the better!

  1. Don’t forget your bed socks!

Now your head’s warm, why not keep your feet warm too with bed socks! Find a crazy pair to match your beanie. Which socks match your personality ?

  1. Things that glow in the dark

It gets dark early in winter so glow sticks will last longer! Why not bring glow in the dark bracelets and shoe laces and have extra fun at the disco.

  1. Cosy fire

Learning how to safely build a fire is a great skill you can learn with Girl Guides. There’s nothing better than a crackling fire on a cold night!

  1. Gooey marshmallows

After you’ve built a fire, you can sit around with friends and toast marshmallows. Who else loves pulling the crispy part off the marshmallow and eating the yummy gooey bit?

  1. Waterproof Shoes

No amount of marshmallows will make you feel cosy if you have wet feet!

  1. Leave the bug spray at home!

We are so happy there aren’t many pesky bugs around in winter … especially ones that look like this!

We’ll see you at the next camp! Let the adventure begin.
