The Executive Committee is the governing body of Girl Guides Victoria and its role is to set the strategic direction, develop policy, approve the annual budget and oversee the governance of Girl Guides Victoria. The Committee has a similar function to that of a Board of Directors and its members are responsible for the fulfilment of duties and responsibilities similar to those of a director.
The GGV Executive Committee are currently seeking a volunteer to fill a casual vacancy. Young women under 30 years and those living outside of metropolitan Melbourne are strongly encouraged to apply.
To apply, please submit a CV along with a short expression of interest outlining your skills and motivation for volunteering on the GGV Executive Committee. Applications will be reviewed by the Governance Chair and Deputy Chair, then an appointment will be made by the Executive Committee.
