State Team Report 14 December

Our wonderful State Team

Seasons Greetings to all. Wow… how scary is it to be saying that? Where has 2018 gone?

What an amazing year it has been for Guiding. We have travelled far and wide around the state to celebrate Junior BP, BP, and Queens Guide achievements. We have recognised hundreds of years of Long Service to Guiding and, service above and beyond.

Birthday celebrations have been held at campsites and Guide Halls, we have played the State Team Game and handed out badges. We have seen campsites transformed and planned for the future.

Girls Rock, Anzac Day Marches, Jamborellas, Snoozorellas, Jamboree’, Government House, 50th Birthdays, 60th Birthdays, 80th Birthdays, and 90th Birthdays – what a jam packed year, and it’s almost time for Girls Rock 2019!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers: Managers, Leaders, Support Group, and Trefoil for being part of our wonderful journey. To all the Guides that come along each week/fortnight/month – thank you all for participating in the great game that is Guiding. Thank you to all the parents and families that provide support through helping at Bunnings BBQs, keeping financial records, sending out newsletters, organising hall cleaning rosters, being an extra pair of hands at a Unit Meeting, attending Working Bees, and all the many other jobs you do.

A well deserved rest is in order for all so we are ready to blast off into 2019 at Girls Rock on 2 February. Make sure you register now so you don’t miss out!

We would like to wish all our Guiding Family a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year, and we look forward to catching up with you throughout 2019.

Best wishes,

Lynne, Star, Sam, and Mandy.
