Girl Guides Victoria has once again been invited to carry the giant Australian flag and individual consular flags in the 2019 Australia Day Parade.
Registrations close at 11.59pm on Wednesday 16 January.
When: Saturday 26 January 2019
Where: Melbourne Town Hall, Collins St, Melbourne CBD
This year we are looking for youth members of all ages to be involved! No previous experience is necessary.
There will be two separate opportunities available, and we’re looking for over 100 girls and Leaders to do the following:
- Carrying the large Australian Flag in the parade (girls aged 5-11; must be accompanied by a parent or a Leader)
- Carrying one of the consular flags in the parade (girls aged 12-17, and Leaders)
