Become a UNICEF Australia Young Ambassador

UNICEF Australia currently is searching for their 2019-2020 Young Ambassadors. In the 2018-2019 program, two of the successful applicants are Girl Guides, including 17-year-old Eva from Victoria!

Who is eligible?

This role is for young people aged 15-24 years old, from every state and territory in Australia.

UNICEF is looking for applicants who bring a diversity of personal experiences, study backgrounds, skill sets, volunteering or community involvement, and cultural backgrounds to the team.

You don’t have to have previous experience in similar roles.

The UNICEF Australia Young Ambassador Program is a unique and exciting role which provides young people aged 15-24 from all across Australia with a platform to speak up for children’s rights.

In your role as a Young Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to exercise leadership and to develop some new skills in media & communications, government advocacy, and engaging with children and young people.

This role aims to build your capacity to be advocates for children’s rights at a local, national and international level.
