Learning Partner Update
This event is for already qualified Learning Partners to meet with the L&D Manager, who will update them on the new training process and how this effects the role of a learning partner.
As with other appointments such as Outdoors Skills Assessors (OSAs), there is now a requirement for Learning Partners (LPs) to undertake a review process every three years.
As the new Australian Leadership Passport has just been released, it is important that all LPs update in the next three years. You can do this by either attending an Update Session, or a Learning Partner Training in your area.
Both the Updates and the Trainings will be covering the new blended learning now available to Leaders. This will include the content of the online modules and ELMO (National E-Learning Platform), the new Passport, and the processes for becoming a Leader.
It is intended that the remainder of 2019 will see new Leaders in Victoria using three different Passports as we transition to the shortened version Australia-wide. Attending a Learning Partner Update or Training will help you work through the necessary adjustments to help Leaders complete their qualification as quickly and simply as possible.
