The role of State Commissioner is very rewarding and allows you to be involved from the Unit level to the National Level. And the best and most rewarding part of this is having the opportunity to participate in the development of our girls and Leaders.
As Lynne Emblin’s term as State Commissioner comes to an end on 31st January 2020, Girl Guides Victoria is currently seeking nominations for her successor.
Nominations for this position, which is open to any female who supports the aims and policies of GGV and is prepared to make the Guide Promise, close on 5th August 2019. The successful applicant will be elected by State Council on Saturday 12th October, 2019. Lynne is happy to speak with anyone who might like to consider this position.
