Volunteer with us at the Melbourne Show!
Girl Guides Victoria is seeking enthusiastic and passionate volunteers to come together and help us out at the 2019 Royal Melbourne Show! This year, GGV will be taking part in the Community Volunteer Program. The Community Volunteer Program is an opportunity for us to promote GGV to a broad audience by giving one day of volunteering, and receiving a PR stall in return!
On Saturday 21st September, GGV will be assisting the Melbourne Show with the Pat a Pig Farmyard exhibit. Volunteers will be helping to greet children and parents, assist the area coordinator and ensure smooth running of the queue.
In return for volunteering with the Melbourne Show, GGV will be given a free PR stall on Sunday 29th September. We are asking for volunteers to assist with running the stall including activities for kids and talking about Girl Guides!
Volunteers must be over the age of 18, hold a current Working with Children Check, and be current members of Girl Guides Victoria. Volunteers who give their time, will receive a free ticket for the day they come along and help.
