Snoozefest 2020 is heading back to Luna Park!
The Leader in Charge and her committee have started work on ensuring that this year’s event will be better than ever! Snoozefest 2020 will be on Saturday 14 March, girls will once again be sleeping under the stars, and we’re looking for a central First Aider!
What will the central First Aider do?
At Snoozefest, she will oversee any incidents during the event both while girls are enjoying the rides and overnight. Whilst you won’t be looking after medications this time (these will stay with each girl’s designated Leader), you will need to be able to respond to anything that happens to the participants while they’re enjoying their time at Snoozefest – including vomiting from too much fairy floss!
What are we looking for in a central First Aider?
It would be great if you’ve either been on a Snoozefest committee before, or have been a central First Aider at another event – including District, Region, and State Camps. Most importantly, patience and understanding when dealing with sick Girl Guides will be key!
Sounds great! How do I apply?
