National Volunteer Roles June 2020

Girl Guides Australia are pleased to welcome applications from Adult Members of Girl Guiding in Australia for the following national volunteer roles:

Share your passion and Guiding experience collaborating with Guiding members in all States to support and co-ordinate Leaders delivering and facilitating a high-quality, inclusive, girl-led Australian Guide Program.

The National Coordinator roles are new roles and will work closely with a nominated counterpart in each State to deliver on their purpose and strengthen Girl Guiding across Australia with a main focus being on delivering and facilitating a high-quality, inclusive, girl-led Australian Guide Program.

The National Coordinator – International role has a focus on raising awareness and understanding of global Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting in Girl Guiding in Australia and supporting the participation in international events and projects. The International Travel Coordinator works closely with the National Coordinator – International to support and facilitate international travel opportunities.

The term of the appointments are for an initial 3 years. If mutually agreed, following a review, the office-bearer can be reappointed for up to a further 2 years.

Applicants should complete the Girl Guides Australia Application Form (ADM.4C) and email to applications@girlguides.org.au. Applications close at 5.00 pm on Friday 26 June 2020.
