Girl Guides Victoria adult members are invited to participate in day hikes and camping at the beautiful Kooyoora State Park (Melville Caves) in Central Victoria. This weekend will provide opportunities for 7-8 km day hikes (one Saturday, one Sunday), learning opportunities around hiking equipment and food, and a chance to practice carrying a fully loaded overnight pack as training for an overnight hike.

This is an event lead by the Adult Hiking Group, a group for GGV adults to socialise, hike, and learn. All GGV adult members are welcome to come along, regardless of hiking experience.
The program will include:
- A 7-8km day hike each day
- Campfire chat Saturday night
- “What’s in my pack” session – learn about different hiking gear
- Food prep and cooking – learn about hike cooking stoves and food
