In great news for Girl Guides across Victoria, the Victorian Government’s Get Active Kids Voucher Program is back for a fourth round!
The Get Active Kids Voucher program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and active recreation activities like Girl Guides by providing financial support for the cost of membership.
Applications for Round 4 of the Program opened on 21 March 2022 and applications can be made until 31 May 2022. Through the program, eligible applicants may be able to receive up to $200 per eligible child to help support their Girl Guides membership fees.
In an exciting change from previous rounds, the program is transitioning from a reimbursement model to a traditional voucher model – which means families can now access a voucher so they don’t have to incur up-front expenses, instead of having to pay up front and apply for a reimbursement!
Girl Guides Victoria is a registered activity provider, and all Girl Guide Victoria Units will be able to participate under the single Girl Guides Victoria ABN.
That means Girl Guides Victoria will be able to accept vouchers of up to $200 to support eligible families in all Girl Guide units right across Victoria to put toward membership fees. We will be able accept vouchers issued under Round 4 of the Get Active Program until 14 June 2022.
How do I know if I am eligible?
To be eligible for a voucher or reimbursement, children (0-18) must be Victorian residents, and be named in a valid and issued Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and named on a valid Medicare card. Families/guardians can apply for each eligible child in their care. Parents and guardians can make an application for each eligible child in their care.

How do I apply for a voucher?
Applications can be made online on the Get Active Victoria Voucher webpage.
Applications must be made by 31 May at 5pm.
When selecting your activity provider, please select Girl Guides Victoria.
How do I use my voucher?
Once you’ve got your unique voucher code, simply enter the voucher code when renewing your Girl Guides Membership online through our Member Login.
