Strategies & Tips to Increase Inclusion for the Neurodiverse – Tuesday November 8th

Join Sue Larkey for an interactive evening Webinar!

Sue is a highly qualified educator who has taught students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the mainstream and special schools. She combines practical experience with extensive research having completed a Masters in Special Education and currently undertaking a Doctorate in Education. Sue has authored many books on autism spectrum disorders and believes that armed with the tools of understanding and confidence, much can be achieved. She is also the Winner of “Naturally Autistic 2013 International Award for Community Contribution.”

Sue also has a connection with Guiding; having been a Guide, as well as her 2 daughters!

The evening will explore the some of the following topics:
– Understanding why, and ways to support and encourage inclusion amongst the Guiding Youth & Adult community with Neurodiversity challenges.
– Why one might need a range of strategies
– How can Girl Guides foster inclusivity and provide welcoming spaces for Youth & Adults across ASD, ADHD, ADD, Anxiety etc spectrums?

When: Tuesday November 8th @ 7pm.
Duration: Approximately 2 hours, with a break part way through.
Where: Zoom (a link will be provided after registrations have closed).
Who: 18+ Adults & Volunteers
What to bring: Questions & Ideas! Also a pen & paper and booklet/materials sent out prior to the webinar
