We are excited to kick off our International Day of the Girl 2023 special video project!
We know that girls are #preparedtochangetheworld, and that providing support and opportunity for girls to build skills and resilience is critical for developing girls to lead.
This International Day of the Girl, we want to bring as many girl voices together to show the world why and how girls are awesome, how girls are already changing and will keep changing the world, and how we can support and empower girls to lead change in our communities. This special Project is powered by Girl Guides Victoria. You do not have to be a Girl Guide to add your voice to the project – all voices of all ages are invited take part!
The project is part of a global theme #preparedtochangetheworld developed by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) for International Day of the Girl 2023. WAGGGS are using International Day of the Girl celebrations to help girls develop the resilience needed to face the pressures and challenges of growing up in a changing world. With resilience, we can develop the confidence to be brave, to innovate, and can truly feel prepared to lead change in our communities.
