Come along for a terrific overnight hike in the beautiful Brisbane Ranges.
This hike is a Grade 3 hike of approximately 10km distance each day. This hike can be used by Youth completing their Duke of Edinburgh Award for their expedition component, or by other youth and Olaves to gain experience.
When | Saturday 14 October @ 9am – Sunday 15 October @ 3pm
Where | Brisbane Ranges – meet at Friday’s Picnic and Campground by 9am Saturday; pick up will be from Steiglitz Court House by 3pm Sunday.
Who | Youth aged 14+ and Olaves
Cost | $40 per person – includes all food for Saturday (morning tea, lunch, dinner) and Sunday (breakfast, morning tea and lunch) and campground fees.
Note | this is a great beginner’s hike, but carrying a fully loaded pack and walking 10km is challenging. If you’ve never overnight hiked before please reach out to the LiC Belinda for a chat about what to expect.
Information session | an online information session will be offered on Thursday 5 October at 7pm via Microsoft Teams, register to attend here and a link to join the meeting will be sent the night before.
