We are looking for enthusiastic Leaders to guide the Victorian contingent to the 2025 Australian Jamboree in NSW, as our State Contingent Leader!
Appointment Timing: September 2024 – November 2025
Jamboree Dates: 28 September – 5 October 2025 (+ travel time)
Key Responsibilities
Supported by the Victorian Contingent team, you’ll prepare our youth and adult members to have an amazing time at Jamboree 2025 by:
- Being our contingent Child Safe Child Friendly Lead
- Preparing and coordinating travel for Victorian participants
- Developing the Jamboree 2025 Victorian polo shirt and badges
- Managing our contingent’s information and expenses
- Coordinating the delivery of a Victorian Contingent Camp in May 2025
- Ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues before, during, and after the Jamboree.
Qualifications
- Current ALQP qualification with leadership and organisational skills
- Experience with 10–17 year-old Girl Guides
- Familiarity with database management
- Strong communication skills.
