After more than two years of works, our Daylesford Girl Guides and Leaders are delighted to be back in their rejuvenated Guide Hall!
Since 1954, the Daylesford Girl Guides Hall has been a welcoming place where local girls and young women come together to grow, learn, and thrive. The hall has provided an empowering space for girls to become confident, resilient, and active members of their community.
After more than sixty years of solid service, the much loved Daylesford Girl Guide Hall has received a complete refresh, thanks to the generous support of Regional Development Victoria’s Living Local Regional Fund and local community groups.
The refresh works included replacing and repairing weatherboards, new roofing and insulation, new toilets and upgraded electrical and plumbing.
The Daylesford Girl Guides were thrilled to welcome Mary-Anne Thomas MP representing the Minister for Regional Development, past and present Guide Leaders, members of the Daylesford community, and friends and family last week to officially open the refreshed hall. Guests admired the renovations, and enjoyed an afternoon in the welcoming and well-equipped modern space.
We look forward to many more years of Guiding adventures and making memories in this beautiful space!
