Every month, we like to shine a spotlight on one of our amazing Victorian Girl Guides. For our very first Girls Who Guide interview, we caught up with Olivia, a lively 9-year-old from South Shepparton Junior Guides.
Olivia has been a Guide for just over a year, and in that time, she’s enjoyed plenty of new friendships and experiences. Read on to hear about Olivia’s bravest moment, her magical dream pet, and the quirky talent you probably wouldn’t expect!
What made you want to join Girl Guides, and how did you feel when you first started?
My friend joined, the next week she brought me along to see what it was like. At first I was scared, but everyone was so nice and made me feel welcome.

Region day at Benalla, it was carnival themed.
If you could have any animal as a pet (even a magical one!), what would it be and why?
