Will you invest in the future of girls and young women?

For over 100 years, Girl Guides has provided a space for girls and young women to explore a world of opportunities and experiences. During these challenging times, Girl Guides Victoria is committed more than ever to a strong future for girls and women.

Girl Guides Victoria will provide Guiding to current and new Victorian members for the next 12 months at a zero cost so that all girls who want to be part of Girl Guides will have the opportunity to do so regardless of their ability to pay a membership fee. This will enable girls and young women from all backgrounds and circumstances to continue to access our programs. There is no better time to contribute and support Girl Guides Victoria to make this a reality.

Every dollar will support our organisation to deliver on our goal to help girls and young women develop their fullest potential. Whether you are an individual, family or business, your contribution will support Girl Guides Victoria to continue to deliver quality programs and reach more girls and young women.

We want every girl to have equal opportunity to experience and benefit what Girl Guiding can offer, regardless of their family’s financial situation or circumstances.

Every dollar makes a difference!

We thank you in advance for your contribution.

All donations over $2.00 to Girl Guides Victoria are tax deductible.

Tiana’s journey to Australia was long and difficult. She had experienced trauma and lacked self esteem and struggled to connect with her peers. Being part of Girl Guides helped Tiana find her identity in a new country and gave her the confidence to develop friendships and explore the possibilities now available for her to grow her potential. Tiana’s new confidence saw her take on a leadership position, supporting her peers at school. She is grateful for the new skills that Guides enabled her to develop and is excited for her future. Girl Guides is a global sisterhood of like-minded girls from all backgrounds, cultures and circumstances.

Sarah came from a family of all boys and struggled to make friends with girls at school. Being part of Girl Guides enabled Sarah to broaden her social circle and find new friends with similar interests. Her family are grateful for Sarah’s new found confidence and this has had a ripple effect on her whole life both at school and at home. Girl Guides provides an all girls environment where girls support each other to be their very best.

Megan lives in a farming community in rural Victoria. She travels long distances to go to school as the family farm is a long way out of town. Megan connects with girls just like her, once a week at the local Guides meeting where they contribute to community projects and develop friendships while enjoying fun activities together. Being part of Guides has increased Megan’s feeling of social connection and self esteem by knowing she is helping to make a difference to her community. Girl Guides provides girls with opportunities to explore a world of possibilities.
