Every August, Guide Units around the state raise money for an organisation doing important work in the community. This year, Girl Guides are supporting World Vision. World Vision is committed to overcoming poverty and injustice through long-lasting change.
This year there are two options for Units to participate in August Action:
Option 1:
Participate in the World Vision Backpack Challenge. Visit their website for more details.
Option 2:
Complete two activities from the August Action 2019 resource, and raise funds for World Vision via a fundraiser of your choice. Funds should be donated directly to World Vision.
