For over 110 years Girl Guides Victoria has been providing fantastic opportunities for girls and women to meet personal challenges.
Guides develop confidence, self-reliance, learn team building and leadership skills – all while making new friends, having fun and taking on new adventures!
Girl Guides Victoria is connected globally to over 10 million members in 150 countries through Girl Guides Australia (GGA) who is a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). We offer opportunities to get involved in local, national and international communities.
Guides learn by doing, with every activity bringing a new personal adventure for both girls and women alike.
As part of the largest volunteer organisation for girls and women in Australia our team is proud to be helping to develop a cleaner, brighter, better world around us.
We offer the Australian Guiding Program to girls aged 5-17, delivered as weekly interactive after-school programs in locations all across Victoria.
Our State Event Program offers exciting adventures and opportunities for Girl Guides from around the state to come together and participate in large events with their Guiding friends new and old. From giant sleepovers to community participation to state-wide camps, there is something on offer for everyone!
Our programs are delivered by a vibrant community of passionate volunteers. Our volunteer community offers women of all ages the opportunity to learn and lead, and inspire girls and young women to become leaders of their world.
